These books will either make you laugh or make you paranoid. They give you step by step instructions on how to survive in disastrous situations like "how to survive if you are stranded on an iceberg" and "how to survive a two way hold down".

Yeah, these are a lot of fun. My wife and I were holed up in a beach house for a few rainy summer days, and the only game we could find in the place was this brand of survival guide one. You learn a lot about what to do, but the game itself is really tough (not well designed).
Wow, I guess there are instructions for everything. I don't think I would even go to a place where there are sharks. I've heard too many horror stories.
This looks useful for dangerous situations, and for researching good process instructions.
I played a similar game as what Mike described-it seemed like it would be funny, but it was kind of serious. Though perhaps it teaches good life lessons on things like, what to do when you are attacked by a bear.
