Peep Show

If not Day of the Dead, than why not something equally as silly as creating scenes out of peeps or gummy bears? Our office submitted a peep diorama to the Washington Post Peep Contest this year. Our submission was clearly the best, so I'm not sure why it didn't make it into the top 100...(By the way, this is not a pic of our diorama, ours was much cooler)

There's something really humorous about Peeps. I find them too sweet to eat myself, but kids love them. Peeps are squishy. It is funny how people like to play "microwave war Peeps." My husband's department (he was a high school English teacher) created a Peeps scene and won a year's supply of Peeps. There were boxes of different types of Peeps all over the English office.

I think you should definitely do something with food or candy. Great idea.

I'd like to see your office's Peeps submission, if you have any photos.

I've never heard of microwave war Peeps, Jill. And I can't imagine winning a year's supply of them. They are so...chemical.
